Now, the integration of Acrobat Reader with Azure Information Protection is now GA.

To take advantage of it, you have few things to do:

If you get an error asking for administrator approval , contact your IT administrators to approve the Adobe App-Id cad2910c-3b55-4610-ba7e-dda581063c91

This situation may occur when the “Users can consent to apps accessing company data on their behalf” setting is set to No

Administrator can approve the application by using the following URL https://login.microsoftonline.com/<please add your tenant here – xxxx.onmicrosoft.com>/oauth2/authorize?response_type=code&client_id=cad2910c-3b55-4610-ba7e-dda581063c91&redirect_uri=https%3A%2F%2Flocalhost%3A44307%2F&prompt=admin_consent

Once all of it is done, next time you open an AIP protected PDF file you will have to sign in

You may have to approve PDF reader to access your information

Once the protected PDF file is open you will notice is will be shown as Secured and in the document properties the Security tab is showing Microsoft Azure Information Protection as the Security Method
